XCTU requires additional drivers to update the modems of newer XBee 3 Cellular devices. If you have not installed them, use the following instructions to do so depending on the devices you want to program.

Note This step is only required if you are programing the modem of XBee 3 Cellular LTE CAT 1 or XBee 3 Cellular LTE-M/NB-IoT devices.
Drivers for XBee 3 Cellular LTE CAT 1
- Go to the Telit drivers page.
- Select the Telit Windows Desktop Drivers Installer.
- Run the executable file.
- Follow the steps in the installation wizard.

Ublox Driver Download
- Go to the u-blox drivers page.
- Select the SARA-R4 USB Windows Driver.
- Run the executable file.
- Follow the steps in the installation wizard.
Ublox Cell Modem
CAUTION! If you are using Windows 7 or Vista, we highly recommend that you disable the drivers installation from Windows Update in order to speed up the modem update process.
